As long as I can remember, I’ve been creating art. In my early years, you could have found me doing one of a number of projects whether it was dabbling with watercolor, sewing, creating a mixed media canvas, or knitting. Putting my hobbies on hold, I received my Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A & M, got married, and decided to have children.
In order to have time to stay home with the kids, I decided to pursue my true passion of custom knitwear. In the last 27 years, I’ve worked to perfect my craft. With my mechanical engineering degree, I am able to apply my knowledge of design and function into my work. By incorporating these basic principles, I am able to create a garment that is both chic and practical. I handcraft every item myself, so you will find one-of-a-kind design details with each and every piece. My goal is to allow each garment to reflect the individualistic personality of the person wearing it.
I use a number of techniques to create my knitwear. Each piece is hand-loomed, tailored, and sewn. Many pieces also go through a dyeing and discharging process or are hand-painted. Each has been washed and preshrunk several times to ensure the best fit possible.
Feel free to email or call me with questions! I currently live in Fargo, ND with my wonderful husband and have three amazing children.
